Well some time ago I sold the Bird and grabbed a FXDWG. All you HD haters gave me a spray but what ever Anyway after 24 years I have finally grabbed a Speed Triple and now have 2 bikes in the shed. I can still remember opening up a magazine back in 1994 and seeing this bike parked next to a Rotweiller chained up and thinking - wow I need one of them. Stoked to be back on the Trumpy and now have the best of both worlds.

these are a awesome motor, I have a 1995 sprint and its going for its third time around the clock and still going strong. I actually ride my sprint more than I ride the tbird

Love that original Speed Triple - a nailed-on future classic if I ever saw one.

Two beautiful bikes, you are a lucky guy. I noticed that the triple has 4 exhausts.
How's the fishing?

First day off yesterday since I picked up the Speed Triple. Rainy day so I only managed a short ride for about an hour. Sun is out today so I'm off to see what she can do through the twisties. It sure is different to the FXDWG. I think the HD is much easier to ride and a lot more comfortable. Must be getting old LOL

Nice one Dan.
But I can see that you'll have the same issues I had when I brought my Indian Scout home; I could see most of the TV except the captions along the bottom of the screen, so I ended up having to move it!!

The TV, I meant!!

yeah there's a few things on that day that I wanted to do. Not sure why they were scheduled for mothers day?? but the bride has given me a leave pass to go camping on the bikes with the lads so I'm lucky. Think we may stop in at the bike show on the way home Sunday morning. Then it will straight home to the mrs to hear how good I have it I think I'm batting well above my average Lee. Anyway ill keep an eye for you and Rocket if I get there
